They usually don't make any major updates close to a Monthly for obvious reasons...

For a very long time period after release Wednesday's were the day updates came out. Mostly bug fixes but usually contained skill balances too. I still sometimes think any Wednesday that an update occurs as "Update Wednesday".
I can still clearly recall thinking "three Wednesdays and no update" and a few cases of "an update and it isn't Wednesday?" until that became normal. Heck Friday updates that are more than setting up a special weekend still irritate me because of that - one of the bad parts of being a long term player is we don't like it when things change even if that change happened a few years ago For those of you that are not that long term you have a different set of things that are "supposed" to happen.

Last year for april fools they made everyone's character the opposite sex. Maybe this year they will make everyone that uses Ursan LOSE life when they attack instead of dealing damage. With no death count of course. You know there will be some sort of nerf or change to HA, double fame always ties into some kind of "test".

You didn't read the whole update - Added the ability to use 7 heroes
- Removed lootscaling
- Removed left overs from the anti farm code
- Added new mini pet 'Care bear'
Anet wishes you happy farming and lots of fun experimenting with synergy builds. Cause, we DO care about the fun factor in this game! Now go get them Tiger!

Both your and his would not be prayers to God, they would be to the Devil! That would be HELL on Tyria!
The update you should be praying for should be:
- Added the Xunlai Marketplace in the Battle isles, once a character has gained access to the outpost, that character can use the ""
- Updated the drop tables so all inscribed items may drop worldwide.
- Added 10 PvE skills to Prophecies as rewards for completing the Titan quests and the Sorrow's Furnace quests. Characters that have already completed them will receive them automatically.
- Added and End-Credits area to Prophecies which players access by completing Hell's Precipice.
- Added 5 Challenges to Prophecies. They an be accessed now where the access to the Arenas previously where, from Lion's Arch, Henge of Denravi, Amnoon Oasis, Droknar's Forge and Ember Camp.
- Changed all effects that replace all equipped skills so they ignore equipped armor properties and primary attribute (Brawling, Junundu, Siege Devourer, Norn Blessings, etc).
And sensible things like those!

Thursday Nerf is occasionally later followed by the mitigating damage update, trying to deal with the complaints from the (mainly) PvE community while keeping the PvP'ers happy.
It is a nice weekly "event" that is often more fun then the by now normal weekend events of double something or other.
Imagine my shock when this week we got..... NOTHING
Some will ask, what is the point of this thread and I am getting to it - did anyone else notice the Thursday Nerf trend and do you think ANet should make it official or should they stop changing the game and let us play already?

Is this a complaint about no one complaining?
